I put the Y pipe on first when I installed my TB's, IRRC. I don't recall having a problem. If you slide it on w/out the pipes connected, or connected very loosely, will it work then? I don't even recall 100% my steps in reconnecting everything when I swapped sides w/my cans. I'll look thru...

I hear you on that! Altho, I'd have been a lot better off in some cases to just spend the $ for the good stuff. For example, my signals that vibrated to death. Or the cheapo 1157 LED bulb that vibrated into two pieces on my Bandit 400, etc :)

I'm still debating. If I change the way I set up the lights on my bags, I won't need to change the OEM bulb to LED. My concerns with the spider are how well it will handle vibrations and is there enough room in the housing for it to fully expand. The price was enough to get me to put it on...
