But if an older model could get the R6 brakes they could use these and not have to paint the fork lowers also! I would assume less brakes get damaged in crashes than forks. :thumbup: Free bump!

the headers should be done with a product similar to jet-coat. I would also powder coat the rearsets. I used Krylon rust tough for my rad. guards, passenger footpegs, and exhaust cover.....see my gallery for pics. also, somone did a nice write up on painting forks either here or sbn :don'tknow:

I think (could be wrong) that the R6 is hydraulically actuated clutch where the FZ6 is cable actuated.......look for a resivoir on the left bar as well as the right, that will tell you. Anything is possible if you want to spend the coin!

one other thing I might add is the bike Will cost more in spring when everyone is buying bikes. If there is any way you can do it sooner or wait some more you will probably come out better for it!

Welcome! I kept my stock suspension for over a year and was fine two up. I am 5'2" and 250+lbs. the only time I had any real problem was crossing a crested road (going to fast in order to beat a red light) and had the bike lightly bottom out. Other than that it is fine for everyday commuting/2...

no one said we were doing it legally.......thats the trick. :thumbup:

You could test the switches and circuits but it may have been your mind. If it stopped I would test them before every ride (gotta be safe first, right? and you should be doing this anyway) and look every once in a while to see if they do it again....if not good. if they do....then fix them.

Anything in traffic (besides people thinking you are waving them on) that gets other people to look at you is a good thing. If I am in heavy traffic or someone riding my @$$ I will use both just to get their attention. Although I was behind a guy on a cruiser once and thought he was flicking me...
