They really weren't that far off. On my homemade one it was horrible at 4000rpm but on the syncpro #2 needed a slight adjustment. I meant to take pics but of course I didn't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well I went ahead and bought a motion pro syncpro tool. I calibrated the tool then got it lined out at idle then again at 4000 rpm. Only took about 20 min. I just wish I had bought the tool in the first place. Next I'm going to use it on my FZR600 and my FZR1000. Thanks for all your help...

I've adjusted the screws here for the TB's and the screw with the spring for the idle. Is that correct?

I thought the screw with the spring is the idle adjuster?

But even if the valves are out of adjustment, shouldn't I still be able to get the TB's synced close?

There's been a lot of miles. Not sure how many exactly but I'm sure is should check them. Guess I should look for the write up on how to do that.

Tried syncing them again this morning. Same results :( Could my valves be out of spec and causing this? If I set them at 4000 then at idle #2 is really low. This can't b this hard!

I've got the levels about the same at idle but when I rev to 4000 #2 shoots way up. So should I adjust for the 4000 to be the same levels or at idle? Idle 4000

When checking at 4k do you just adjust the idle up then when done you put it back between 1100 and 1300?

Free bump. It might be easier to sell these locally and since you're not selling them with rotors I'd take the sprocket off and list them as fz6 or r6 wheels since they are the same. Shipping is going to be an arm and a leg! My spare rims and tires are from an 06 r6r. Had to change the rotors...

I would call the company first to see if its in stock and how long will it take for you to get it, before purchasing it. Usually you order it from them. Then they order it from Yamaha. Sometimes it'll ship directly from Yamaha dealer or it gets shipped to who you bought it from then they ship it...

The r6 top triple is about 1/4" wider than the fz6 triple and where the stem goes is much bigger on the r6 than the fz6. So it won't work.
