Well said....The stock exhaust does get louder above 8K! The bike really begins to wake up as well above 8K...Very fun to ride!! You can usually find a used set of slip-ons on this forum for under $300..I picked up an older set of Scorpions for $250 shipped..I LOVE em!!!!

Actually, most car fans will continue to run after shut off. At least I know mine does....Think about it...That engine is still hot no matter if it is running or not...the fan runs after the engine is shut off to help move the air over the engine to continue cooling it....Much like a turbo timer...

I actually have the opposite problem.. I am gonna lower my shift pedal..it is WAY to high..I have to actually lift my foot up to downshift..lol....One of my buddies is gonna help me adjust it though....

So is this another confirmation that the nakids don't notice wind as much as one would think with the absense of a windscreen completely?? You would think the opposite would be the case but I have been reading instances of where every says the wind actually becomes less of an issue...

Not to thread jack but just my experience today......Oh yeah!! Above 7k is where it is at!! Went for another 120miles or so today and got to hit some 90 degree turns with a slight sweep to them and did it about 45-55mph and really leanin this bike is a blast!!! its such a different feeling...
