Most of the gas-stations in NY do not have the auto-lever on the gas pumps, but even if they did I wouldn't used them when filling up my bike for the reason you just mentioned. They would however, come in handy in the winter when it's 10 degrees out and I need to fill up my truck.

Not I, I got my motorcycle a few weeks or so after I got my license. My friend bought his R6 the same day he took the MSF BRC...so he had his permit but not his license. My g/f got her bike before she even had her permit!

Remember your TCLOCS! I still do this every morning before I ride off to work, only takes a few minutes and I do it while the bike warms up. (Tires Controls Lights Oil Chassis Sidestand) You live and learn, now you'll remember to check your tire pressure before each ride.

That does make sense, but doesnt the construction worker at the Enterprise say something like, "Nice bike' or something to that effect and then Kirk throws him the keys? Doesn't disprove your theory I guess, could just be the worker likes rat bikes.

When I found this pic, I also found a link to a story about a guy in New Zealand that used to ride with his cat perched on the front. Sadly they were involved in an accident while riding and neither survived. Story here.
