I live a little south of Rockmurf and roboco lives a little south of both of us. Ft Myers is still a ~2 hr drive for me. There may be more on here who live further south. I also agree that it sounds like a scam. Tell your dad to call his C.C. company and explain what happened and ask for that...

Not plug and play but it is possible. Will be a pain in comparison to an aftermarket speedo which will have lap timers and stuff the stocker doesn't. I think Koso is the big brand name of aftermarket ones very nice looking and very trick!

Make sure you do some research first. someone on here had his Jet-coated and said it was starting to fade....and it was expensive. Try and see about a warranty. Also remeber you can get header wrap in black that is much cheaper and replaceable!

It was probably the salesman who said this.....trying to upsell. When I was looking at the FZ (and the SV650) they tried to sell me a R6, FZ1, and R1.....even though I specifically said I want to look at the FZ. I can maybe see the FZ1 (i do have some motorcycle expireince) but why would I be...

I didn't vote because I figure if you are modding something...why mod it to look near stock (similar to FZ6N) take a look through some of Wavex's old pictures and other streetfighters out there and find a headlight that suits your fancy and pull the trigger! Custom naked pwns Factory naked anyday!

This is not 100% true. Mostly true, but not 100% I run regular about 80-90% of my fill ups but premium 10-20% of the time. The reason for this is manufacturers (of oil/gasoline) put better detergents and additives in their premium line of fuel so it helps lubricate and clean the fuel system...
