Do you know how many miles the R6 forks have on them? You may want to replace the oil if it is old....... It is actually pretty simple (mind you I did this on an '08 so the brakes are the same as the R6). Removing the front wheel is simple just read some how to's on here. Remember to torque...

You should know that a baseline run is a very good thing to have if you plan on adding mods in the future. Also a good tuner can optimize the stock map. If you are planning on mods in the future I say this is a good idea. If not, than I think it may be a waste of money. -Remeber mods can be...

Not that I have seen. Keep the overflow tubes in a jug/bucket/pan/etc and disconnect everything and pull it off quickly. Or ride it........ once the fuel level is below the pump it wont run out even if you open it up. (assuming it is in a vertical position) What cha doin? :D

Try to lube the little "nub" that is spring loaded and holds the collar in place. That is what I would imagine makes it hard to turn........
