Actually it's not that unusual. A lot of states have similiar laws on the books they just are not enforced. NC, FL, KY are just a few I can think of right off. Just something else that can throw at you if you pi$$ them off.

I took everything off but the large one on the front fairing that's in a side V shape. I like it w/o the others but thought taking that one off would make it a little plain. Might change my mind if I see another one already done. BTW mine is red as well.

This is part of the reason I quit baking paint years ago. Now I have a large ceramic room heater and whne I do paint I set things in front of it to get their cure. Doesn't melt plastic and so far has done just as well as anything I used to bake.

Yea basically they shaved quite a bit off the "backrest" part between driver and passenger seat to give it a more vertical profile. Then thinned a little off each side and took enough off the top to make room for the gel pad.

I'll pretty much ride anytime it's above freezing but I prefer it to be above 50*. Matter of fact I am going on a trip in 2 weeks(1500+miles) to Florida and just hoping it doesn't rain. I don't mind the rain, I don't mind the cold but I hate them together.
