Should be interesting to see what improvements you can get from the dyno tune. I imagine it's not going to be cheap though unless you are in good with them.

On the highway I generally run about 10-15 over limit here in most places is 65 so 75-80. Around town and through the city limits on the highway I try to never break 10 over.....there are alot of back country roads around here though were the limit is 35-45 and I catch myself running 60-70 alot...

The paint I used is made by DEI same company as the wrap it's called Hi-Temp Silicone Coating comes in a few colors but not many. I just did do the exhaust only have about 150miles on it with no issues but I had also done the mid-pipe with it and it still looked good after 9 months and 7k miles...

You can drill the baffles, replace the cat with straight pipe and all will improve the sound a little....emphasis on the little part. I did mine before I got a great deal on some Arrows. It got me by for a while the biggest change in sound is at idle though.

They shouldn't effect the Tack but they do majorly effect the speedo. Based on that fixed calibration when you change the gearing the engine is turning the same RPM but the tire is turning a different speed for that given RPM. The speedo would have read about 85mph for 7k in stock form but...

Thanks everyone. staticghost- The seat is a custom job done by a local shop here. It is basically a reshaped factory seat with a gel pad and custom stitched leather. Very comfortable and much less than the aftermarket options. Boneman- Thanks, yea those rearsets stick out like a sore thumb...

Good deal, yea I coated mine too and they still managed to rust up a bit. Caused me alot more cleanup when I went in to finalize the job the last few days. :thumbup:

Nice job man....word to the wise though on that flex pipe. Nothing wrong with it I used some of it to build part of my cat elim. but next time you have it off go ahead and spend the extra $50 and get header wrap, and the coating made for it and wrap it completly. It will start to rust a lot...

The cat elim. I made myself and wrapped with exhaust wrap. I pulled the emblems and end caps off the pipes. Sprayed the cans and all the pipes with a Silicone based paint designed just for exhaust. Trying to avoid a lot of shine on the bike, older I get the less I want to waste time polishing...

I got mine from Cycle gear can't for the life of me remember the brand but they have them for specific makes...i.e. Yamaha, Honda etc. I'll look on theior site in a few and see if I can find them.

Bought a set of Arrow exhaust from him Monday at a great price, they arrived today. Good honest guy made me a good deal and even overnighted them to me. Everything arrived just as it should have. Thanks :thumbup::thumbup:

Something is off about that calculation.. not sure what but I know for fact mine turns almost exactly 7k rpm's at 75 with just the -1 front. Just wouldn't want you making a decision off sqewed info. :thumbup: Maxes out 147 at rev limiter(14k) on the dyno.

That's what I did...I think I ended up be out about $350 for the set M&B, Road Hazard the whole deal. :thumbup:

Other cars in general worry me all the time never know what kind of hair brained stuff they'll pull. Most of all though tractor trailers in the mountains taking up both lanes on blind curves is probably my #1 worry.
