I change my oil filter every time I change the oil since it's only an extra $2-3. My oil changes so far have been at 100, 600, and 4000 miles. I'll be changing both at 8000 miles and every 4000 after that.

+1, pretty sure it's sport touring which is why our insurance is so low compared to RR's.

I'd say so. Pretty much it just involves removing 3 or 4 bolts and attaching the brackets so that the pan can mount to them. Took about 30 minutes tops to install, but most of that was just digging in my toolbox to find the right socket or hex wrench to use.

$100 shipped within the continental U.S. It's been used for about 400 miles on my bike, but is in excellent condition. Goes for around $150 brand new.

Thanks Tom. I probably would have never done a naked conversion if it wasn't for Wavex's original conversion. I fell in love with that bike the first time I saw it and just had to make one for myself.

LOL, I'm working on it. I'm planning on removing the stickers, removing the reflectors, and painting the radiator covers tonight. :)

Well, I finally got my pipes on Friday. I had some bolt clearance issues with the grab bar cowling and ended up going to Lowe's and getting some slotted pan head M6-1.00 x 20mm bolts, washers, and nylon nuts. The rear cowl went on perfect after that.
