Thanks for the replies all - based on this will follow original proposal - meet 12:45 @ the 1st rest area on 93 in NH. I wasn't planning to eat in Hillsboro but lets meet at the High Tide so people can get a drink/ice cream/use facilities. We'll target being there at about 2:15 PM.

I'm leaving from Lynn - if no one else is joining we can meet somewhere on 95 and pick a time. If other folks are joining might as well just meet at the rest area so it's only one stop - f you're thinking what rest area look back at page 16...

Were there any takers on meeting up tomorrow? I scanned back but don't think I saw anyone say yes for sure. Let me know - if I'm on my own I won't bother stopping in these same spots

I always had short hair but the helmet promoted me to go a little shorter (from a 3 down to a 2) - my wife complains that you can see my scalp but I still get helmet head with it that short it just cleans up much easier.

Not hard but tedious - lots of sub-assembly work to do. My one big tip would be to actually read the instructions all the way through before you do anything. It would avoid moments like - "oh I was supposed to leave the blue plastic film on the clamps - too late now"

mine didn't come with a FE - they came with a little bar that fit between the middle pipes and supports the stock fender. That said I also put a FAZR6 FE on at the same time as the exhaust and it works nice. Pic of fender support attached.

According to the forecast a little cooler this weekend but that's not intuitive. West Dover, Rutland, etc all showed 83/84 for Sat/Sun but the more northern spots, Middlebury/Moriah NY are showing ~88 like Tom posted.

7:30 for breakfast according the website - I vote we hit breakfast then and leave at 8 AM.

Not that it'd be cheap but a lot of the BMW riding gear comes in tall sizes.

Here's how I'm thinking about heading out. Attached GPS in a zip file and an image. It claims to just under 5 hours of riding time (190 mi) from Lynn (my work). If folks still want to meet here's what I suggest - MA folks meet at the first rest area on 93 after you cross into NH at 12:45 PM...

I had mapped out two ways (one there and one back) - the longer goes pretty close to past you guys based on your location info and I was leaning that way - it was longer of the and I'm prolly better off to get home earlier on Sunday. When I get home I tonight I can post the route up I was thinking.

Getting closer now - I'm planning on leaving from work (Lynn - just north of Boston) around noon on Fri - anybody somewhat nearby who wants to meet and ride to the inn together? Was thinking I'd try to plan so that I'd get there between 5 and 6, unload and then find food. Let me know Also if...
