I have an 07 and I made mine look like swiss cheese I put so many holes in it, I also cleared out the cat and, I kid you not, it sounds exactly like it did the day I drove it off the lot. I think the mufflers are designed differently on the 07 than, say, the 04-06's. :confused:

I lowered mine about 1-1/2". I weigh about 165 and it hasn't bottomed out once and the fender hasn't hit the radiator or the fairing. I did it to put clip on handlebars on. :thumbup:
