That looks like LockTite underneath the head of the screw I think. Kinda blurry. You might want to search on ways to dissolve that stuff.

This thread is a riot! Im not sure how the Canadian dollar compares to American but that sounds a little high in the States. I bought my 07 brand new (0 miles) with 1 year warranty for $6047. You'd be surprised how little aftermarket additions add to a bike's worth.

Not quite sure what you mean but if youre referring to the switches housing then yes I had to drill a little hole in the underside of the bar for the positive placement tit on the housing. Not a big deal... I would say total time to take off the switches and grips and put them on the clip...

Yeah it does look pretty good. Not sure why U.S. doesnt have one. Forget the card, pay cash or dont buy it. Those cards have ridiculous interest rates. You know, you could always go the other way... naked, then you could sell your fairing and be in the positive! Just a thought.

Thats technically correct, but you can do it very carefully...moving each side about an 1/8th of an inch at a time and have the forks stay aligned. I moved mine up in the triples the second day I had the bike. Ive put about 3000 miles on it and ive never had any vibration and there is no sign...

That blue is just ethereal on the tank and wheels. Is that stock? By the way you I think you got the perfect scene for photographing that thing. The earth tones of the patio and fence work perfectly with the black and blue of the bike. :thumbup:

Well, in my opinion, changing the handlebars is probably less involved and complicated than putting on a new exhaust but if you dont feel comfortable doing it, definitely let the dealership do it. What are you going to do about the triple clamp bar clamp thingy sticking up?

Well, they are gonna cost about 2/3 the price of your bike, between 3000 to 3500. They do add an unmatched level of performance though. Less unsprung mass, less gyroscopic action (i.e. better handling, cornering), less total mass (i.e. better acceleration). I read an article in Cylce World...

The bike looks great, wrightme, what signals and mirrors are you looking at? I got some barend mirrors off of ebay for about $40 that are of fair quality. Everyone thinks that barends vibrate more than stalk mirrors but its the exact opposite! I love mine, crystal clear.
