For me there is not one bike that will do it, I want a garage full. I bought the little Dr200 for doing the dirt roads and trails, my short inseam limits my choices on other adventure bikes,otherwise I'd buy something larger, a Multistrada perhaps. Sold my cruiser after putting 30k+ on it, now...

I would also recommend the SV650, it has very neutral handling characteristics,good range of torque and power at lower rpms without being twitchy and there's a boatload available for very little money out there.

I was at almost maximum speed one time but just as I cracked the sound barrier she started to develop high speed wobble and I had to deploy the chute :)

I'm about 5'8"( think I'm shrinking as I age) and the Fiz fits nicely

I've had the high frequency whistling sound in my head for more than 40 years,doctors have always told me there's no real cure. My biggest fear is that as age continues to creep up on me, I'll lose my hearing except for that damn sound.....believe I'd soon go insane.

Having sold the Vulcan 1500 early last year, I'm down to the Fiz and a lil DR200 dual-purpose. The DR has been a blast for playing on local trails and dirt roads, no power for the street,but nimble at only 250 lbs. Fizz still gets the mod-money.
