Just tried the grease. I don't know if this was the case before but now it retains trip reading for up to 45 seconds without the key on. The wiring is the original harness and display. I don't think they'll snap together incorrectly. Wires aren't frayed or stripped. Any help or ideas would be...

That's just another reminder that no matter how routine the ride, something crazy can pop up and go completely nuts instantly. Glad to hear you're, relatively, doing well. Also good to hear the bike got through it without major loss, in that order. Time to put on the bandaids and turn a wrench...

Trust me, they don't make tires good enough to avoid a civic sliding out of control in 5" of snow... I definitely feel you on the limited riding season. WI isn't the greatest either, but can't complain about last winter... :) 20K miles here on a 08 bought sept that year. LOVE IT!

Nothing out of the ordinary from my experience. It really gets interesting if you run the tank lower. I fill every 220 or so, and the first half of the tank lasts into the 130's or so, the middle of the tank goes until 180 or so, then the last half drops like a rock and the last 20 or so miles...

Or you could be a 6'3" 290lb guy and have no problem concealing a full size .45 with a 5" bbl. ;) Accuracy is spot on and 14 rounds should be enough to solve most problems. I do exercise, so it isn't all fat, so cut me some slack on the fluffy guy knocks. :)

I wonder where that magical tipping point is where power overcoming the load gets outweighed by gas consumption. You can feel the start of the torque curve around 6k, but if it is spinning faster than necessary, where does the extra power do more harm than good?
