100% agree! Don't rely on the trans to absorb all of that when it doesn't have to. I had a friend basically stand on the rear brake (bike in N) and it was enough to break it free.

I got 10 years out of my stock rocker, bought a cheapy and it lasted a year. Will be getting a dry yuasa and dumping the acid myself. Cheap and NEEDED for riding shouldn't be in the same sentence.

Bit the bullet and bought a new cluster. :( Couldn't find the component after a sleepless night. Does the display show mileage of the bike or does it transfer with the display?

Does anyone know if the 99-02 uses the same harness/ wiring as our FZ6? Specifically 2008. If it'd simply be plug and play I would need some new shorts!

During priming of fuel pump and electronics turning on, the tach would only spin to about 6k and stop, drop and go back to 6k before dropping again. I took gauges apart and found the new screw had punctured the silver case of tiny wrapped wire. On the side in tiny letters reads I or L 7C7A...

Just got a euro FZ6N headlight "kit" and it is evident (and verified elsewhere) there should be some rubber bits between the headlight body and the sides which hold the indicators. What are they called and where can I source them? The kit didn't include them and they are being a nightmare.
