Front rotors look Honda-ish. I agree that it's probably aftermarket bodywork on a normal bike. Sharp looking though.

I solved that problem by putting a 2007 swingarm on my 2004. :) In addition to hating how the old swingarm looked, the chain adjustment mechanism was awful with those plates on the end. I really like the 2007+ style now.

I've never had problems with tar snakes, but I suppose I've never hit a fresh one in a turn. A bigger problem for me here in Pennsylvania, is when they "tar and chip" the road. They put down tar and cover it with fine gravel. Then they are supposed to roll it and sweep up the extra gravel...

Happened to my cousin back in the early 1980's. Somebody strung a rope across some fenceposts that previously was open, and the rope caught him as he rode through on his RM80. Broke several of his ribs I recall, and really messed him up.
