Manual says degrease with kero. My o rings are good. the rubber would be buna-n which resists oil, kero, diesel etc. Think of the stuff coming off a wet road like a freeway. lots of diesel, fuel, oils and detergents which would naturally degrease your chain anyway. Rumpy
