They will, but you have to loosen the fitting. With that much pressure I didn't feel comfortable doing it. Something to remember; the hose is stiff because it's new(it will loosen up).

I didn't ride to work either. Rode Saturday , rebuilt forks didn't feel right. I pulled the fork caps Sunday only to find out that who ever did the work on my forks may not have screwed the fork cap to one of the damper rods. The owner of the shop is looking into it now.

I've heard stories of motors blowing up like that, but never saw it.

I have an 09 that I bought new as a hold over in Sept 2010 with half a mile on it (pre sale check ride). I now have 33500 miles on it.
