I put solid tires (like on a lawnmower or forklift) on my bike. Saves me about $100 a year in tires but the bike can only go in a straight line and I crash about every 5 feet. BUT LOOK AT THE MONEY I SAVE ON TIRES! :thumbup:

The vstrom is about 95% street 5% gravel road. It is not much more off road capable than your fz6 if you were to put dual sport tires on it. It is more of a "touring adventure" bike.
