I think it is a lot more than a dozen pounds more than the FZ, maybe comparing dry to wet weights? Looks very nice and those accessories are all useful. I bet she has gobs more torque than the FZ...

I use the 52L topcase for my commuting purposes in the city. It hold quite a lot and actually is not that wide. I think it is better and more convenient for commuting than side cases. Also, you can still lane split in CA. :-)

I have a copy of the FZ6 vs. Ninja 650 vs. SV650S consumer news article and the FZ6 just blows the other two in performance. But, both twins probably make more power under 6k rpm than the FZ6, so real world riding is most likely similar. The FZ6 was also better than the Ninja in handling.

Nice! I had an '06 green one that was terrific. I upgraded after 3k miles, but really had no good reason. It is economical, easy to ride, narrow and lower than the FZ6 and is a blast if you do rev it. Good choice.
