You'd be the first to try. 03-04 R6, 06-09 R6S are known to work. Other R6 may work but I am unaware of anybody who has done that successful. You can look at my compatibility chart for known compatible parts.

That's the 10 on what appears to be a light traffic day. Not very aggressive in IMO. I've run with guys that split at 90-100 while traffic does 75. And the speed limit is 65 in most areas.

Good job! I think many people like the R6 fork mod because the forks are shorter and they do lower the front end just a hair. For comfort & durability, the R1 forks will probably be better since the R1 weighs a little more than the FZ6.
