I found that it helped a lot on my 06. The transitions from off/on were jarring at times in the twisties, no matter how much I tried to be smooth with the throttle. After installing the PCIII (with stock map), it is much smoother. I think it was worth every penny. Your mileage will go down...

Well I just finished using my vacuum bleeder to change my brake fluid. I did not use a Mity-Vac but the cheaper version from Harbor Freight. It was pretty easy but I did have a hard time getting a good seal on the bleeder. The kit comes with some rubber fittings, but the smallest still leaked...

The clunk is normal, but for me it only happens goinf form neutral to first. After that it is very smooth shifting. Also I never have had the bike jump or lurch forward when dropping into first. That does not sound right.

I am leaning toward getting the Hyperpros as well. I like their all around nature (so I've heard) and since I plan to install them myself, they seem much more straight forward to install than the RaceTechs (no cutting spacers, just drop in and replace the oil).
