I agree and like that it appears to bolt on in place of the OEM unit with the shift rod also following the factory path through the chassis. Good news is that parts are available if needed.

I didn't revalve. Hyperpro does not specifically state that it is neccessary. I just installed them and have enjoyed the ride ever since.

Seem like a bad vacuum leak. To see if the plug is firing you can plug out one wire at a time, place one of your old ones in and ground the electrode to the valve cover. Crank the ignition, you'll see sparks if it's firing.

I love my quiet bike too. I sold my Leo Vince's and haven't looked back. I spent the money on a Total Control Riding class with Lee Parks, a better ROI IMO. I ride like no one see's me anyways, and depend on my skills to keep me safe.

I plan on doing this when it comes time, but I like to be prepared. I'd rather have a kit on hand and change out the shims then and there, then have to order and wait... I came across one vendor who may have a kit available. Procycle - Hotcams Valve Shim Kits & Refills

No one has mentioned the shim kit. Did anyone buy a shim kit before even checking the valves in the event they would be needed? Question for those that have done this, where did you get your valve shim kit from and how much?
