agree quick release is much easier to use than the D-ring cause its gloves friendly:thumbup:

i wear it closed untill it gets too hot....wanna avoid stone, flying bugs going to my face...usually feel hot when riding around city area

I just did my scottoiler...apperantly the mechanic fixed mine with the tube running in between the heel guard and swingarm, quite a sore eye to see it sticking out like dat.... I think I prefer the way u fix it, much more neater and it hides behind the swingarm quietly...gonna have to find...

interesting, where to get those rubber silicone? any purpose in them?

the best thing about scottoiler is that they helps to extend the life of the chain and sprocket. Most of my friends that has it don't have to check wheather their chain's or dry from long distance riding. As for the oil flying around, dont mind doing a bit of cleaning rather than buying a new...

hmm, normally a kerosone is sufficient to clean a chean, like what the manual says. I go for GT85 for chain cleaning though. N lubing it with maxima chain guard. preety good stuff as the lube wont dry up so easily. But for normal daily commuting or long distance ride, its best to get scottoiler.

sometimes there are ppl telling me that my headlight is out...but doesnt occur always...anyway i think having 1 headlight on is better than two on simultaneously cause if that lighted 1 blows, we got another side for lighting.

mine runs 300km, main tank, reserve 83.4km till dry dont think theres a cheap exhaust for fazer....we got 2 end cans bro...so basically price times two.
