Only true if you let a dealer service the bike. I do my own service, and service other folk's Ducs, for way cheaper than a dealer will. I relish the service cost that dealers charge. It gave me a place in the market.. and now I have my own business!! DucRX-Save Your Money For A Track Day...

It depends. On the track first gear is used as an actual riding gear. On the street I really only get there once I've come to a stop.

Only one bike and you had to pass on double yellow? I'd call that one helluva road hog. They should of shared the lane with you guys and let you by without crossing the center line... but that's just my opinion.
