Okay, I re-read the thread paying more attention, and it appears that you swapped the FZ6 spring onto a R1 shock? Is that correct? What year(s) R1 shock should I be looking for? Are the shock lengths close enough for this not to disturb the bike geometry?

Re: FZ1 bars I've had my FZ6 new since 2004, and have never really noticed that the stock handle bars are uncomfortable. That said, I would love to sit on somebody's bike who has them to see what they feel like. :D

When I bought my Laser Quads, I also got the optional straight pipe cat replacement pipe which I installed. Running without the cat definitely makes it louder.
