    Philips Motovision bulbs

yeah i use them i have two one h4 and 1 h7. they are a bit better than stock and they illuminate the road well but it s not the wow factor you would expect. the bulbs on my bike are over two years old so i consider them a good investment (ok the bike is used only in weekends)

changing headlights from uk to europe

i may not be of great help but i think you can adjust the angle at which the headlights point. remove the two black inner cowls and there should be 4 nuts to tinker with, i think it would improve, if not entirely solve your problem

    Going naked, front must go.

07 and 09 fit no problem they use the same part numbers, just the colours differ. 05 to 07 that s a different story, almost nothing fits without changing all the brackets etc

    New tire transport

it can be done sure, i've seen a guy strap a tyre plus wheel on his bike (just one tyre tho not both and the wheel was the front one), make sure you strap the tyres well and pull them on the passenger seat as much as you can

    Pain in left elbow

the bars on my fz are slightly bent. i ll get some pics tomorrow and post them here to show you the difference so basically put the wheel straight and you should see the levers are not level and the bar ends are not level as well. also rotate the wheel to full lock, one of the bar ends...

    Easiest and cheapest brake upgrade??

ss brake lines improve feel and stopping power, as townsend noted there is no expansion in the brake line, so all the lever effort is transformed to braking power. r6 calipers will not fit on the stock 04 fork legs without custom made brackets

Pushing it too much on highway

as already confirmed, you are not doing any harm to the bike by going 80-85, the bike likes to be ragged. be sure you re comfortable riding at that speed so that you minimize panicking or something and cause an accident, if you re comfortable at this speed, the bike is perfectly at ease...

    Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart II

try them yourself and give us a review:D what i ve figured out about dunlop is that their higher end products are as good as the competitors' best, its their lower end stuff that usually leaves something to be desired about grip. dunlop made in japan are usually crap. those made in england or...

    What's your favorite (transmission) gear?

i like 3rd most. the bike doesnt sound so busy and still has the oomph to accelerate fast. i use higher gears (namely 7th!) just for cruising merrily.

    Stopped by the stealership yesterday...

Ok what is N1? i ve tried to search for models but came up with a bunch of old honda pics and ROCKETS!! if your gf rides pillion i dont think the kawasaki is a very good option, i mean look at that seat its perched high and not very large or cushy. the suzuki's is much much better. there s...

    Paint the engine?

i think your best bet and also to get the best finished product is to strip the bike of everything (wires, brackets holders etc) and label and mark everything where it goes on the bike to have a fairly straightforward reassembly. remove engine ancillaries that you do not want painted, take your...

Fz6 Crash And Now Faring are just not Right

did you change the actual bracket that holds the fairing to the frame on the sides? (pic 2). that s the first thing to bend in a fall since its not very strong. try to bend it further out and see if it solves your problem. the fairing stay may be bent but this is much cheaper to fix/replace so...
