i did the xjr bars conversion, wider and have more rise, the bike is lighter at the front tho, so you must take care the first few rides.

also i would check the handlebar if its bent. they are made of jelly and in a low speed crash they can easily bend. check that at full lock the distance between the mirrors and handlebar is the same on both sides, and also the distance between handle bar and tank.

mine is beginning to show such symptoms as well. the cable is lubed and the handlebar itself is lubed with grease, im beginning to think its because i have fitted the xjr handlbar. it has a bit more rise than the stock fz so i think it may have stretched the cables a bit.

i just got the radiator yesterday. it was very well packed in bubble wrap and came in perfect conditions. great price too and one of the few undamaged radiators i have seen in a while! thx

i wear mostly the shark rsx for commuting and sunday rides, then when i feel like a change its either the shark rsr2 or the agv ti tech. they both fit snugger than the rsx and do not have room for ears

i dont beleive these fit the 04-06 fazer eh? i know that the 07+ plus fazers have different mirror mountings, so i guess its a no go. they do look nice and blend well with the shape of the bike

i have recently gotten the itch for a smaller touring type bike like the fjr1300 how can you call the fjr a smaller touring bike?:D i've never had anything larger than the fz6 so i cannot contribute, the itch is there of course, but i have to keep on scratching it for a long time...

reviving this from the dead.... in a few weeks time me and my friend are about to dismantle the forks to do an oil change on the fz. i have a query tho. having a look at the above methods where you place a weight on the pillion seat and a jack or tin of paint underneath the engine, wouldnt it...

when i installed mine (yamaha ones as well) i installed an electronic flasher relay and did not use the inline resistors. they work marvellously. somehow when i installed the inline resistor the indicators would light dim.

they look very nice, they match the yamaha blue. lui moto actually makes very good seat covers but yeah i think its a bit steep for a cover albeit a very nice cover.
