i found an auto body guy through the local motorcycle forum and talked about my options, he did a 3 stage paint with the pearl overlay and it came out great. Sawblade did an orange color,http://www.600riders.com/forum/fz6-streetfighter/38437-her-name-autumn.html , its a great color.

big question is do you have experience painting if you did it yourself?? If you are not experienced and concerned about resale price you may want to find a professional and go crazy with some custom color. I had minor body work and got all mine done in a 3 stage pearl for $900

ya no chip for US, I just had 2 backups made at my local true value hardware store.

ya we probably got between 6-8" on saturday which took out trees and power, finally got it back on today so that's a plus. I want to move south to get away from this snow but it sounds like it'll be as bad there in a few years. Thanks Al Gore!
