whats with the clutch issues??? my FZ6 clutch works like a charm! clutches are very power intense gear systems, they are supposed to make some noise. the clutch on my CBR was far worse... my advice... ignore what your wife likes. which one of the two bikes gets you more exited when you look...

the easiest way to spot the difference between S2(98HP) and plain(78HP) is to check the instrument panel. the S2, has the FZ1 instrument panel with a ANALOGUE tachymeter and the Digital speedometer. the plain version has the green multi-instrument with digital speedo, and digital tach around it.

dont know what a fazer means, but i can verify that the naked version is NOT called a Fazer on most parts of this planet and its referred as a FZ6....the Fazer name is reserved for the fairing version. i think it has to do more with the fact the the naked version should give you the...

avoid getting high speed water streams on the radiator! the foils bend with that kind of power. other than that. any place that would get wet on a very rainy day (including splash from the street) is fair game for washing.

as an new S2 owner in Europe i can definitely say that the differences though not dramatic between 78hp and 98hp, are not just the throttle limiter. the S2 has different new tech brakes the S2 has a new front fork the S2 has a different seat the S2 has the instrument panel from the FZ1...

regarding the "mysterious european model" do you have the Fazer or the FZ6? what is the colour? does your instrument panel look like, what year did you buy it. its unlikely the 78hp to show 80hp, unless you are on a very optimistic dyno
