wow! i can only think of drawbacks really! 1) you have killed off the immobiliser, if the imobiliser key isnt needed for starting the bike, im guessing its not a good thing 2) if you have put a gear and turn it on, its fallzies for the bike 3) why would you want your bike to be turned...

did you try benzine/gasoline/alcohol to clean the glue? or were you using water? i have used colored rims on my older bikes but they werent a problem really, the first one was a bit wonky but the rest 3 sides were fine. (didnt take the curved ones though, used the straight one with the guide tool.

i use it for my cheap helmet,(scratched and around 100euro worth) for the shoei XR1000 i never ever use it. its usefull when i travel with a mate so he can use the cheap one and use the helmet lock and only i need to carry around the good one (or for settings like beach etc) i get my heavy duty...

use wd40 to clean the rear wheel and anywhere you will have grease from the chain, it does wonders! avoid having the wd40 touching the tires dont forget to grease the chain dont use high pressure water jets especially near the radiator folds dont leave the bike to dry by itself water...

ive seen a couple around my city, they are huge and give the impression of very low bikes, in my opinion bikes are all about performance and sleek design, and the vmax is neither.. its heavy and it gets its a$$ whipped by any crotch rocket half its displacement.

check your helmet lock on the left side. dont leave it open.
