I agree, My 07 still has the original and it starts the first time, every time. Your situation does not sound normal. I would check the charging voltage to see if the battery is getting enough voltage to charge the battery under normal use.:(

Funny..the Locktite is probably fine, but I actually used an anti-galling compound on my bolts to make sure I could get them off again if I needed to.:Flash:

I would agree with your assessment, that the forks are too far up the triple tree clamps. Try going back to the stock bars and stock height on the forks. Then ride it and see if it cures your problem:Flash:

I think the buzziness is because they sync the throttle bodies at idle, instead of at 4k which is the minimum RPM that i cruise at.

The other thing to look at is if you have any corrosion on the bulb holder or even possibly a loose wire at the light? Are the bulbs actually blown? or do they just not work?
