What a steal. I've always thought that was the best looking factory paint of any bike.

I have no peg feelers so I found my toe would scrape before the peg, even with the ball of my foot on the peg and my foot tucked up next to the bike. Most people use different / adjustable rearsets to bring their pegs up and back when they get that serious.

If you only have 5 clicks of adjustment, it's possible that whoever rebuilt the forks did not measure and reassemble them properly.

I had no intention of taking my FZ6 to the track, but boy was I surprised at how well it did even in stock form. Takes a few minutes to pull the mirrors, but it's not that bad. If you're upgrading the suspension, buy my Penske double clicker. ;)

R6 forks are fully adjustable for preload, compression, and rebound. They work very well on the bike and are not terribly expensive. Since you have a 2007+ with the upgraded brakes you just need a straight set of forks, R6 axle, a kit of custom hardware, and a little time with a dremel to cut...

If he wants $700 just to replace the fork, he's taking you for a ride. Replacing the forks is a pretty simple affair you can do with basic tools. That said, I would get an opinion on the frame since it has some significant scratches in it. That may total the bike right from the get-go.

I'm not a fan. Looks like the pipes stick way too far out. The plastic helps extend the body enough that the pipes stay in proportion.

A cat shouldn't make that much of a difference in the AFR reading. At least it didn't on my car. The pre-cat wideband on my car was within a couple tenths of the wideband at the tailpipe when I tuned my car on a dyno. Good enough for government work. ;)

I routinely get around 45mpg. Highest was 52mpg. Lowest (not including track time) was 42mpg. MPG is easier to write than L/100km. ;)
