Not me, bike still in bits, trying to get rid of an error code 14 :( Gotta get it going soon, mum-in-law needs her car back soon.

    Fault code 14

Right. After reconnecting the battery, I tested the pressure sensor as FinalImpact posted above... My reading is 4.75 volts... higher than the range specified in the book. (Hope I did it correctly, I unplugged the coupling and tested where the pins on the sensor go into the plug.) Might still...

A new way to light up my license plate!

My mistake. Maybe it's just the convex, I thought it was all covers. I'll shut up now...lol

A new way to light up my license plate!

Looks great. Down here in Oz, it's illegal to place acrylic/perspex over the number plate... Cops will book you for it... Something about reducing the effectiveness of photographic speed cameras.

    Fault code 14

Dammit, helps if you open your eyes when setting about finding the air pressure sensor. Got the tank off (mainly to allow more room), got halfway through removing the battery and housing to allow removal of the airbox.... And noticed the sensor sits neatly to the rear of the airbox... Easily...

    Fault code 14

Cheers FinalImpact. Looks like I'll be busy this weekend. I've pulled the airbox before, so I know what I'm doing there. I'll have a play and see if I can figure it out. (Pocket tester = Multimeter?? I guess). The info you posted is in section 7-14 in the 04 service manual... I found it...

    Fault code 14

Hey all. Anyone ever had any problems with air intake pressure sensor... I cant find a listing of a pressure sensor on the Ronayers microfiche. I'm going to lift the tank and make sure all connectors are firm and dry, just weird that this fault came up. I rode to work yesterday (have...

    The "Off Topic" thread...

Hey guys, need some help. Started my bike this morning and the orange engine light stays on. After turning the key off and back on, the digital display goes through normal startup then displays the number 14. Can anyone check what that is, I don't have access from work. Cheers.

MotoGP: Who's gonna end up where? Predictions

Well, this isn't going to happen now... Jorge Lorenzo signs new Yamaha MotoGP contract | MotoGP News | Jun 2012 | Crash.Net What's the bet, the rookie rule will be abolished and Marquez will take Stoners ride. Hopefully Honda give LCR some more factory backing for Bradl too.
  13. Stumbles06

    So.... who'll get Stoner's ride?

He got them, but (like Dovi) had to pay for them himself.
  14. Stumbles06

    So.... who'll get Stoner's ride?

I'd love to see Bradl take Casey's seat, Marquez to take over at LCR for a year then he can take Pedrosa's spot :) If Ben can get his shizzle together for the rest of the year, I think he'll be safe (decent qualifying effort last night... only .004 off the front row). Cal seems pretty happy on...

Who's going to the Moto GP at PI this year?

Ok, I'm seriously thinking I need to get to the Island this year for the... Stoner Farewell Tour. Will have to check the leave-calendar at work to see if anyone else is away, seeing as I've lost my trip to Japan, might as well treat myself to watching Casey go round the Island for the last...

MotoGP: Casey Stoner to retire at end of 2012

Couldn't believe it when a mate told me about this at work this morning. It was on the news, but I don't have radio on the bike, so hadn't heard. It's good to see him put family first, and I think (in my opinion), Marco's death has put family top of the pile (as it should be), and why continue...

Hmm, wonder if they'd notice if I used the Corporate Credit Card they gave me for the trip and take a little "vacation" to Vietnam or something :D

    The Rant Thread

Ah well, brown stuff happens. A little session with my mate Jim Beam has made it a bit better, probably be down in the dumps again tomorrow though... lol. Does suck that I had confirmed flight details though... They coulda canned it before giving me them :(
