    Painting an S2 Swingarm

Just bought the swingarm from an S2 that was professionally bead-blasted and primed to a flat gray. Have found the proper paint code to have it re-painted Yamaha Silver to match the 04-06 models [ColorRite Yamaha 0895 Silver #8 (S8) Frame Color]. My question is, how much paint do I need in...

Colin Edwards talks about the Simoncelli accident

This 'incident' has brought a lot of attention to the sport and will undoubtably result in improvements to rider safety, track safety, and responder training. Hopefully the other riders will be able to carry on, although it will be difficult due to the closeness of the group... Sent from my...

    Damn Cagers

That dude is lucky to be alive. Check out how steep the drop off is... Good thing there was no oncoming traffic when he lost it (the car that went by was missed by only seconds). Sent from my SAMSUNG GALAXY S INFUSE using Tapatalk

My FZ6 next to a Smart Car

Haha. My neighbour has one that they use to commute to and from work with. They also own a pickup truck. He says it cost (fuel and maintenance) about $11.00/hr to run the truck, and $4.00 to run the SmartCar. This is a link to my bike with all my hard Givi bags...

    Simoncelli's father pays tribute

Very emotional read... especially the part about being alone after the funeral. I'm glad that the tributes and outpouring of support are comforting for him though. Sad. Very, very sad. RIP

    interactive 3 seller review

I purchased a 2007 swingarm assembly from Seth. He had had it professionally sandblasted then primed, and was including all new hardware (bearings, etc.). I received the swingarm exactly as described, and will be installing it over this winter. The packaging for shipping was bombproof. There...

Almost cried when i found my Bike on its side :(

Wow, some people are just ignorant! To hit your bike hard enough that it tipped over the driver would have felt something...even if they weren't paying attention. But to then drive away like nothing happened?? Brutal! Good luck with your fix... Sent from my SAMSUNG GALAXY S INFUSE using Tapatalk

    Joe rocket manta tank bag

I have the same bag in grey. It's a good bag, and comes with a should strap for taking it off at the end of a ride. Mine also came with a waterproof cover. The magnets work extremely well, and are removable so you can clean any accumulated grit off the magnet pockets (that way metallic debris...

Stolen exhaust - prevent it happening again

Wow... bold theft! I'm trying to figure out how they would have removed the cans w/o removing the tail section... I have a givi toprack on my bike with Leo Vince cans. I just gotlooking at it, and I think the top rack hugging the cans the way they do would make it much harder to...

Givi V35 Side Case Mounting - Fitment Kit vs. Monorack - FYI

I have a Givi e470 (47L) topbox and out will hold two full face helmets; a full face helmet, gloves, riding pants and a water bottle, or; a full face helmet, gloves, my joe rocket hybrid jacket and that's all... I also have Givi sidecases (big ones), but they allow me to travel with everything...

Sad day for my FZ6 :(

Glad you are ok. Bike doesn't look too bad. Aside from the naked conversion, it doesn't look like you'll have to shell out too much to fix out... Sent from my SAMSUNG GALAXY S INFUSE using Tapatalk

Damn I spent a lot on my mods!

But in the end, every penny spent was worth it, wasn't it? Do you still get that ear to ear grin when you spark her up on a nice morning knowing you're going out for a full day run? = Priceless!

    Belly Pan Goodness

Good job! Looks really good, and most people won't ever get close enough to that part of the bike to notice the slightly lighter colour!

    What was your last bike?

1984 Honda Nighthawk 750S (Canada) - had ~ 27,000kms on it when I got it, and I wrecked it at 41,000km. I purchased this bike in ride-able condition for a scuba diving knife, and a set of scuba dive planning tables (~$60 Cdn). To this day, I have never gotten a better deal on anything!
