I would brake the bike in slow like the book says, but after that ride it a little harder, no going crazy, but let the rpm's go to 7-8k then shift. Don't forget the fizzer is a mid-range bike so it loves to rev. As far as down shifting, I most of the time before down shifting i pre-rev and slide...

i went to the web-site for the forks and swing-arm sliders and i should be getting them on THURSDAY. I will take before and after pic's and a little write up how the install went. Thanks everyone for the info on the sliders. :thumbup:

IMOP to get the PC111 will just benefit either way. The 07 has a newer A/F ratio so the stock computer will compensate, but if the bike ever goes crazy with the A/F it's there as a back up and you can get it Dyno'd and have a custom map made.

the PCV will handle it but to do it right he would need a speed-o-healer to compensate. When i did my sprockets the speedometer was off by -14.8%

Besides putting frame sliders on our bikes to protect the motor, what other types of protection can we put on the bike (forget about putting on the cage), do they make sliders for the front forks or the swing-arm or anythings else?

When i put mine down i was avoiding a semi and just leaned away from it, i had sliders on it and it saved the bike big time. The damage was broken slider, a few scratches on the side panel, scratches on the grab bars, scuffs on the engine casing and the worst was the handle bars, the throttle...

That is fracking great, i know one thing they will learn for sure about motorcycles, is that you can tell them everything about the hobby and that most important, that like you RED IS THE FASTER COLOR.
