As mentioned before, Maxima Chain Wax or the DuPont Teflon spray works wonders, but you must clean the chain and its contaminants off prior to use. I use Motorex chain clean...very icky icky stuff, but it works. I brought my can with me on my roadtrip and my chain after cleaning looked spotless...

You are just supposed to ease the front end down at speed, and not dump the throttle. The inertia, according to one of the guys who stunts at the shop I work, will carry the front end smoothly to the ground. I personally am a little heartless only because the 'Stuntah' crowd attempt stuff...
