Painted my stock windshield and I really like it. I also trimmed my rear hugger back and put a pretty cool point on it! Didn't cost a cent, got the plastic paint from the paint bin at work, hee hee.:thumbup: Here is some pics:

You might try a synthetic oil too, I have heard that helps with rough shifting. Good call on the bike and :welcome::welcome:

I did drill out my stock exhaust and it sounded a little bit more raspy, but it was'nt quite enough snarl for me, there is a couple posts on here that sort of lets you hear it. I ended up using a really long bit in my drill, and it took a little bit of patience. The T.B.s sound loads better but...

Boy that is a great looking bike. Very manly. I want to upgrade my stock lights to the HID projector sometime soon too. I like the light output.:thumbup:
