    Snow in the mountains

It was 25 here this morning. Had to use a CD case (Bon Jovi) to scrape the windshield 'cause my ice scraper is uh.. missing, my stupid concrete truck had frozen water lines for most of the morning, so that was a fun day at work. It turned fairly nice later though. Yesterday the wind gusted to 60...

A little fun with the welder

It's this kind of "Out of the Box" thinking that I really like. I am pretty impressed with the work this obviously took to fab and install. I really cant wait to see what else you got planned. How long can you run with the lights on? Do the horns scare the crap out of people? Awesome!

    Austin Anyone?

I'd love to go too, but it's a tad far for me. I am planning a trip to Key Largo, Fl. next summer so I'm pretty excited about that. Still in the planning stages for now though.

Oooooops "wheelie" with wife on board!

My wife whacks me when I do anything out of the ordinary when she is riding with me. So it's safer for everyone on the road if I just take it easy. Sounds like you got lucky. I have pulled a few wheelies by my self, but I'm not that great at them.

Flathead lake is a real great lake, Its about fifty miles long and has nice roads all the way around it, although you need to be really careful of the posted speed limits through the little towns on the back side. If you get back up this way drop me a line and Ill take a cruise over...

    Is It Just Me Or......

It does'nt really make me too upset when someone, (Hawg riders or not) wont or cant wave back, I wave at everybody and let them decide if they want to accept my offer of biker friendship. It makes me feel part of one huge family when a whole long line of Harleys or any bikes ride by and every...

The one headlight on the "Home Page" bike...

Hey I got the BD43 headlight mod and it's one of my favorites! It was fairly easy to install and the results are worth the dough!

    Finally got my Trailer

What do you use to tie the bike down in the trailer, the bars or the frame? I bought a "Canyon Dancer" bike tie down strap that has plastic cups that fit over the end of the bars but when I used them they pulled the bars down so hard they were touching the tank! The bars spun in the mounts and...

Stock 2007 windshield.. What color is it?

I bought the yamaha touring windscreen thinking it would be quieter but it was really loud and it only stayed on my bike for half a hour, now it sits in its box in the garage. I have considered cutting the stock screen but I've painted the inside of that so maybe the loud touring screen will get...

Be careful, animals in the road at night are dangerous!

For a second I thought your post was serious, but when I saw the picture I shot pepsi onto the screen. Hope my laptop still works. Very funny though!

    Aftermarket handlebars.....

I am going take a look at putting the pro-taper dirt bike style bars on my bike this winter unless I chicken out or someone changes my mind. I have seen pictures on here before and I think they might work better for me.

Has your bike ever hit the ground?

Does gravel count? It wasnt pavement, my wife was riding my bike in front of me on the highway and as she came off the road her front tire slid in the gravel and over she went. Sprained wrist, lots of bruises, and some cosmetic damage resulted. She was wearing gear or it could have been lots...

Hit a deer while using my phone...

It was about 5 pm, still quite light, but getting on towards dusk, I guess. I am trying to make a difference by not texting at all anymore while driving and only talking if I have to. I hope I can keep it up.

Hit a deer while using my phone...

Not on my bike, not that crazy. I was coming home from a fishing trip in my truck and my cell phone beeped at me, with out thinking, I picked up the phone and looked at it to see who it was. As I looked down, a big mule deer doe ran out in the road in front of me. I slammed on the brakes and as...

    Not a bike question; headaches

Anyone have a good cure for migraines? This group has a broad range of experiances to draw from and I really need help. I've had migraines for about ten years now and this last bit has dropped me for the last two days, no work, only dark and quiet help. I havent found any medication...

Is this the worlds coolest car?

Anyone who said no obviously has not seen the movie. Go see the movie then see if the car isnt the greatest movie car ever. Better even than the General Lee! It would be fun to drive, AMC cars were actually very advanced for their time.
