Hey man, I do hope to ride to Elko this summer, probly in august sometime. I'll let you know when and maybe we can put a ride together. It will have to be after Sturgis though. (3rd week in august) My bike is '07 also, but its the faster red one! love the bike and plan on keeping it til I cant...

I'm 40 now, been riding street for about 19 years straight. Been riding dirt bikes for about 31 years. I plan to be riding when I'm 70 also. :thumbup:

I had TB exhaust all last year and loved it; it ran good and idled fine. I got the Juice Box this winter and just installed it today but haven't got to ride it yet. I hope to get a bit more power and maybe smoother delivery. Have fun!

I think the R6 mirror stalks are angled out a little more and are a tad bit longer so you see a bit more behind you. Cheap on E-bay maybe.

I was coming home for lunch yesterday and this guy jumps out in front of me on this little scooter with this very attractive girl on the back, no gear, no helmets, nothing. The girl has shorts and a t-shirt and the guy has khakis and flat canvas shoes on. They weren't driving like dummies but...

The Givi engine guard will protect your case a lot more than just sliders but the cost is much greater. You can add the engine guard later though if you want more protection. They look pretty manly too. Enjoy the Forum here, there is a LOT of info on this site and everyone is great.:welcome:

Frame sliders are arguably the most important mod you can put on your bike. My wife flopped my bike over and the frame sliders saved the engine case a world of hurt. The swingarm spools/sliders help too. Well worth the money, in my opinion.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am still not sold on electric bikes. I know we need to do something green but I still cant get enough of that WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVROOOOOOOMROAR-ing sound. And the smell of two stroke gas. Sorry, just my two cents.

I kinda doubt its spinning the tire, but maybe, when the revs go up, is there a harsh vibration? Or is there a bad smell when you stop?

I got mine off e-bay too, it took about two and a half weeks to get mine, I also got bar ends and grips from e-bay. I like e-bay but also it's kind of a pain in the butt bidding and then waiting and shipping costs and hoping you got the right one, I just wish I lived near a place where I can get...

I agree about the screen/light setup :eek: but I like the radiator panels and that belly pan looks great! Thanks for showing intrest in us, TCP!
