wow if that guy can have so much attention to detail building a model, can't imagine how he would do if he was building a real bike.

so i finally decided i need to get my bike painted, white with red stripes, yami retro style. the rims are black now with red rim tape but i was thinking maybe dark gold/broze color, maybe even a little brighter. what do ya guys think? i rarely see white bike with gold rims so im not sure...

cool, but what did you do with the two hugger mounting holes on the right side of the swingarm? also that little mounting bracket for the rear brake line...

are you talking about your zx? so with no hugger did you mean the rear tire can kick up rocks and stuff?

i also thought about just cutting out the chain guard and discard the hugger. but im worried about dirt and dust going everywhere around the undertail area. what do ya guys think? thanks :thumbup:

so i wanna make the hugger short. cut a little using a dremel with a drill bit that can also cut sideways (not sure the name of it but it looks like a normal drill bit). it doesn't make a clean cut and makes thin weaves of plastic behind. tried a round cut out tool but can't do curves with it...

i see, i think my tranny is fine because it's been awhile since i last did the wide open throttle clutchless upshift. well, this is what i did. - 2nd gear wide open at around 10,000 - 11,000 rpm - while bike still accelerating, off gas, kick up shifter to 3rd gear, on gas the forward jerk...

speaking of clutchless shifts, does anyone know why if i'm at 2nd gear at 10,000 + rpm and i clutchless upshift i feel a sudden jerk? normal? first time it happened i thought i broke something LOL

hi folks, i have a question, how do you compare the fz6 shifting/tranny with other bikes you own? like the fz1 or r6 or r1, anything really. sometimes i feel the shifting isn't as smooth. not sure if the cold weather has something to do with it. sometimes when i start the bike and put it in...

can u post some pics of your bike with bagster? the side pods are oem from dealer, about CAD $150 for both.

depending on your budget, triumph sprint/tiger and street/speed triple have a good seating position. oh am i triumph biased? just a little :BLAA: bmw bikes too.

it's easier to downshift when stopped if you slowly let out the clutch a little. you will hear a "click", pull the clutch back in then you can downshift. repeat same procedure to downshift until you are at 1st gear.
