Not sure if this helps but I had the same setup but with stock filter, and with either of the downloaded maps, the idle was only ever-so-slightly lumpy. It seemed to settle after a few days which is strange, but nothing I worried about. What kind of fluctuations are we talking - 100rpm or more?

I'm certain. Due to my research and what I read on the forums, I expected zero performance gain. Just the removal of the popping. But it's immediately noticeable to me that it reacts quicker from off to on. I go for my dyno tomorrow, can't wait :)

Sometimes putting a higher octane fuel 'with additives' can be detrimental. For example the Shell Optimax 98 in Oz can foul plugs in certain circumstances.

Not unless it's pinging I wouldn't think..... don't think the compression on the FZ6 is high enough to be an issue imo. I run 91 octane.
