If you figure it out I'd be happy to know what causes it! Syncing my throttle bodies does seem to make it less obvious. It does seem to do it more in the winter when I'm only riding the bike a couple times a month and it sits with fuel stabilizer in it (I use seafoam).

Your rate is lower because the weather sucks in Ohio from October- April so you can't ride much for 50% of the year. ;)

It sounds decent for a major metro like ATL where the weather is usually good for riding 9-10 months/year. Now you also get like a 20% reduction in premium from Progressive if you bundle homeowners or auto insurance with them.

That is part of the "Comprehensive" portion of insurance policies. Theft and collision...the 2 most likely claims with motorcycles.

What year XJ6 Diversion do you have? I was unaware of this bike. They started making it back in 1992! The bike was reintroduced again in 2009 as a much improved model. If you're riding a 1990's model it's no wonder the FZ6 is so much better! Blah

Not sure what you mean by this? Why would bearings be damaged in removal of a wheel, especially if it's brand new? Not following. I've removed my wheels 5 times for tire changes. just cleaned the bearing dust seals well and re-greased them and never had a wheel bearing problem.

Since this thread has been bumped. I just replaced my 2006 head bearings at 25,000 miles. Original bearings were fine. I ride on the east coast of the US. Unless you park your bike in the rain or power wash the steering head all the time I'm not sure how your bearings get so rusty!

The FZ6 will hit 100 MPH in 3rd or 4th gear! :thumbup: This engine really shines in the (indicated) 8-14K range. I was able to pull away from a Liter bike (Suzuki SV1000) up to 100 mph on mine once back when I was young and foolish.

Rode at 19F once on the FZ6. It was not that bad with the right gear but far from enjoyable. So now I use the 2 coldest months of winter to get some maintenance and modifications done on the bike instead! :thumbup:
