+1 on that. I have a mesh jacket and mesh panel pants that I wear in hot weather - ATGATT here too. They work great while offering protection. But - staying cool in this 90 degree heat we are having is a challenge!

Pete - very good question... I really like the FZ6 - and think it suits me pretty well. Every time I looked at other bikes, I kept coming back to it thinking that I really didn't want any other. Plus - the dealership gave me a pretty good price on the new once since this was the third bike we...

I would also say go for the non R model. You can't go wrong! My husband finally saw the light (he rode a WR250X) - and now has my '07. I have an '09 on order - never even thought about looking at another bike. Now we have (will have) two! :D

Yup - sold the '07 FZ6... Sure loved that bike... :( But... Good news is - the husband bought it (well, ok, he didn't buy it). And I have an '09 coming soon! :cheer: Blue (again) - the faster color of course! Sure am excited - and the weather next week is supposed to be perfect for...

Even though I complain in my mind about the gear when I put it on and how warm I get - ATGATT is the only way to go. I have much more peace of mind knowing that I am protecting myself as much as possible. I shook my head a lot this weekend when I saw all the bike out with no gear - wow...

Moopie and specialk - please post picts when you get yours - and also exactly the specs of what you selects (if you are willing). ;) Thinking of ordering soon. Hopped back on the bike for a 3 hour ride today after yesterday's 6 hour ride and the bunz were not happy.
