    ThisIsBenji's FZ6

:) it was actually only a one day trade. I'm not actually sure I'd trade the fz6 for that bike. It was okay.

    ThisIsBenji's FZ6

Welp, doesn't really matter now. Traded for this.

    ThisIsBenji's FZ6

True, but I was thinking more along the way of getting the rebound and compression set properly.

    ThisIsBenji's FZ6

I'm not sure to be honest, it felt pretty good to ride though. I'm thinking I'll pay for the suspension setup at my next track day though. Should be worth it now that there's a bit more going on.

    ThisIsBenji's FZ6

Just measured my front sag, I'm at 30mm right now. Went for a little bit of a ride and it felt pretty good, still too cold and too much salt to really corner hard though.

    Need some help with brakes!

No it yet. It sounds like more of a weekend job to me. So I'll check it out either today or tomorrow.

    ThisIsBenji's FZ6

Interesting thought. I suppose I'll look into that then. It's pretty easy to adjust them up and down so it won't be a big deal. I wish I would have been smart enough to measure my stock sag.

    ThisIsBenji's FZ6

Yup, had oem up 10mm, r6 I have up 5mm. I measured the two forks and it seemed that r6 forks were about 10mm shorter than the fz6 forks so this should make me a bit lower yet up front. My R6 forks are actually new old stock that I got a killer deal on so I'm assuming they have OEM springs...

    R6 Fork Install, Another One

Just got done installing my R6 forks (they've been in my basement for over a year!). The bike already feels way different without even riding it, now I just have to get that front fender mounted. This thread has a a lot of useful info on the fender, thanks!

    Need some help with brakes!

Soooo, I had my front wheel off and accidentally touched the front brake lever. It went in a by but I caught myself and the pads are rubbing worse than they were before (I think). Is there anything I can do to get the pads to back off a little more?

    Questions regarding Öhlins rear shocks

Penske does list our bikes on their website. Just have to start the purchase process. Also, there's a reason WERA classified bikes are so cheap, just my .02.

    ThisIsBenji's FZ6

Started on some new upgrades for the coming season over the weekend. Excited to see how this turns out. Also dropped the bike in my garage.... OES frame sliders saved the day, in fact they were literally the only thing to touch the ground.

    Questions regarding Öhlins rear shocks

Not necessarily lower cost, but I'd take a serious look at Penske as well.

    New Handlebar Recommendations please

I'm in the process of putting a new pair of renthals on my bike. Haven't rode it yet, but they're looking to be an epic improvement over stock.

    Something new from Yamaha..!

I think it'll grow on you guys! From the side and rear 3/4 view you can see how clean the design really is! The only bit of attitude it really has is the headlight assembly. Without that headlight it would look VERY similar to the FZ09.

    Something new from Yamaha..!

I actually really like the headlight :D It gives the bike that bit of charm the FZ09 is lacking. I love how this thing is basically a naked, lots of the new names have FAR more plastic on them.

    Something new from Yamaha..!

asdfasdfasdf WHERE DO I SIGN UP FOR THE MT10?! If they don't bring that thing to the States..... That thing would look wicked parked next to my all black FZ6 naked.

    Does the FZ6 Have Soul?

I would say my FZ6 has soul. It's pretty much the definition of modern Japanese four cylinder appliance, but.... it's got this lovely sound at idle and has this sort of jekyll and hyde power band that sounds ridiculous above 7,000 rpm, not to mention it's a great looking bike! I've spent...
