Any photos of the shock?

Love your bike! I've been using it as the basis for my bike, but I'm a long way off. How do you like your tank grips on the side where they're at? I had mine there originally, but moved them down slightly because I felt my leg was hitting the bottom portion of them only.

I think there's some confusion on what you mean by part out. If you mean it in the literal sense of selling the bike in pieces, that sounds like a pain. However, if you mean return to stock and sell aftermarket parts separately, you'll almost always make more money that way.

Your gear likely would have been fine, I've seen guys go down at 90 mph + and not even damage their gear. Now, if you hit a solid object, THAT would have sucked. Judging by the photos, I would probably be more concerned about how that tire is going to ride rather than how safe it might be.

My bike has 18,500 miles on it. Mostly back road twisty riding, but probably 1,500 miles of mid-fast paced intermediate (b group) track days too.

So most valves go tight, but some loosen? Mines been making more noise and if it's the valves that would mean loose right? I'm taking it into the shop tomorrow though.
