I'd have to say I agree. It just seems like the amount of R&D to build a custom one-off frame would be more than it takes to find a good used R6 frame and make it work for your application. How much testing are you guys going to do with the frame to make sure it won't crack during high stress...

I was actually in the same boat not too long ago. I switched from an 02 VFR800 to an 05 FZ6. Pretty big difference in power delivery between the two. The VFR put down more torque in the lower revs. I always felt like I was reving the FZ6 higher to get the same feel, but that makes sense...

I found that fitting two helmets can be difficult with a top box less than 40L in capacity (depending on the helmet sizes). I'd recommend the Givi E360, E460, V46.
