Colorado doesn't have a helmet law. It drives me crazy seeing all the riders without helmets. People at work cringe when i tell them what i paid for my helmet but i feel that my head is worth it :D

I ordered my devils about a year and a half ago. I think they are the best sounding exhausts you can get. Any bike i get from here out will have devil cans

The FZ6 will tour all day. I have done 500 mile days and wasnt even sore. On the other hanf the FJR is an amzing bike and it will do the twistys almost as easily as the FZ. My dad has the FJR and he manages to leave be behind in the curves.

I made a stop at a friends house on a ride last night and when i went to put the key back in to start the bike. The slot the key goes in was turned all the way to the 'on' position when it was actually in the lock position. about 5 minutes of playing with it i figured out it was the chrome cover...

I have the icon with pin lock and it helps alot. But when it does fog up i just crack it open a little to let some air flow inside the visor and that helps alot. I have tryed all the other hits and nothingseems to work for me

Pretty much what everyone said is true. Just personal experence when i put mine on it completly smoothed out the throttle responce. The 'second powerband' that starts at 8k is gone and it is just a smooth transition all the way through the rpm range.

I would take it to yamaha and see if it is part of the throttle positions sensor recall. I am pretty sure it was the '05s that got that recall

Wavex only ever had one at a time but he ended up crashing 3 of them if my memory serves me correct. Glad to see you are back ridding again

Welcome to the club! It may be the best mod i have made to mine. Made long distance ridding much more comfortable to me.
