    draggin knee

I have a question for you guys. I am 6'1" and like to ride most of the time with my butt all the way to the back of the rider portion of the seat. This gives the most comfortable angle for my legs and ankles as I do not have rear-sets. When I am coming in to a turn and want to achieve...

What do you wear under leather pants?

OK, this thread is getting kinda weird if you ask me. ....maybe pictures would have been less strange after all!

    Quick ? chicken strips.

I have always chalked up the greater difficulty of right turns to the fact that in a right turn you are putting pressure on the throttle grip, and at the same time, trying to modulate the throttle itself. In a left, I just throw down pressure on the left grip at the moment I begin the lean...

    bridgestone battleaxe tires

Just checked mine and found the front at 24 psi and the back at 28 psi. YIKES! - Adjusted to 33 psi and 36 psi per owners manual and my weight. The reason I suspected low pressure was that the wear band in the center of my rear seemed to be getting wider. Please, no lectures...

    Restriction, break in period

I bought and tried a cramp buster. I have never really been able to get used to it. In fact, the problem I had was that there is so much leverage, I accidentally hit the cramp buster with my palm and unexpectedly launched the bike. Maybe I am challenged in this way :p, but when you get one...

    Where the purchase colored chain...

Nice! Great look. Do you have any idea what the weight difference is between these wheels and the stock ones? I bet there is a pretty good weight loss associated with them as well.

    Review your gloves.

I wonder if gloves like these would benefit from some scotchgard or other sealant treatment on the stitching once a year? Does the manufacturer say anything about this?

    Review your gloves.

I needed some cooler gloves for summer riding. I like my leather Tour Master gauntlet style gloves a lot, but they are too hot in 90+ weather. I tried on a lot of gloves and settled on these alpinestars S-MX 2 air carbon gloves. They were $60 which was more than I wanted to spend, but after...

    New Forks Installed!!!

Danny, I just figured out what is wrong with your bike. You are going WAY TOO FAST!!! Have you considered trading it in for a slower blue one to help with this problem? J/K :Flip:

To powercommander, or not to powercommander ?

Last time I checked the other makers hadn't released a 200 HP bike. Those are not my personal choices, but based on HP these are the guys who are making the monster bikes. Of course with the air box mod on your FZ6 - you may now have them both beat in the HP. ;)

To powercommander, or not to powercommander ?

Then I suggest you go buy a Busa or Kawi Busa Killer. You will get double the HP of the FZ6. If that is not enough power for you, I suggest you buy a 500 HP exotic and find a way to mount it on a street bike frame :D

if this doesn't make you think!!!

The one that really hit home for me was the far away shot from a gas station camera. The rider is just cruising along at high speed, then that guy pull in front of him to the gas station. The rider turns into a human bullet. It's just hard to remember the physics behind riding and being...

Ducati Desmosedici RR MotoGP Replica Released

I didn't see a price listed anywhere. Anybody know? I heard $65,000 US. But that was just what someone told me. I like the 1098s - only $25,000. That's what I will get instead of a mid-size car next time. Even swap :Sport:
